Jenny Bonk spent 20 years in journalism and corporate communications, where her writing was mainly focused on helping people understand IA (industry acronyms.) After a 15-month travel sabbatical with her family covering 35 countries—where she contracted no communicable diseases and now considers it a high crime for a city not to have good ramen—she found it impossible to go back to a desk job.

In addition to freelance writing and consulting, she is working on a novel (Wanderness) and a young adult novel (The Rhino Queen). Her Bachelor of Journalism is from Ohio University and her master’s degree is from Wake Forest University. She lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband, Thomas Morgan, and has a collective family of four: Kylie (19), Bryan (17), Andrew (12) and Drake (8).

Her short stories and other musings can be found in her head, or you can ask her to write you something here.
